The members of the Moroccan Association for the Automobile Industry and Construction (AMICA) have just elected, unanimously, Hakim Abdelmoumen as president of the office for a three-year term.
The members also elected the members of the new board of directors. In addition to Abdelmoumen (boss of Induver), the board includes Rachid Machou of the Antolin group (1st vice-president), Youssef Hedda of Clayens NP-Morocco (2nd vice-president), Ihssane Saoud of Lear Corporation (general secretary), Hicham Zerhouni by Denso TS (Deputy Secretary General) …
Note that AMICA is at the origin of the dynamics of the automotive industry which is the leading exporting sector since 2016. The sector generates more than 80 billion DH in exports and directly employs some 220,000 people. More than 250 renowned equipment manufacturers contribute to sourcing made in Morocco.
