Sony has just announced that its flagship racing game Gran Turismo 7 will receive a special edition for the 25e anniversary of the franchise, and detailed all the pre-order bonuses of the various editions.
Shortly after unveiling the release date and a new trailer for its Gran Turismo 7 game, Sony has now detailed the different editions that will be available. First of all, Sony announces that all pre-orders of the game will give access to three different vehicles, the Toyota Castrol TOM’S Supra, the Mazda RX-VISION GT3 Concept (Stealth) and the Porsche 917K Living Legend. You will also be entitled to 100,000 CR, the virtual currency of the game.
As a reminder, if you are one of the gamers who are still impatiently waiting for their PS5 and you decide to order the Gran Turismo 7 game on your PS4, the switch to the PS5 version will not be free. Indeed, Sony has let it be known that the update to the PS5 version would cost 10 euros. This will also be the case on other games, including the upcoming God Of War Ragnarok.
Sony announces special 25th anniversary edition
In addition to the standard edition, Sony will be offering a special edition for the 25th anniversary of the franchise, with even more pre-order giveaways. Indeed, in addition to the three cars, players who pre-order the 25th anniversary edition will receive the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game, the Toyota GR Yaris car in your country’s colors, 30 constructors and partner avatars, music from the official Gran Turismo soundtrack as well as 1,600,000 CR in play.
Sony specifies that the physical version of this edition will be limited. If you can’t find stock at your usual retailer, you can still pre-order it from the PS Store until the game launches, the 4 mars 2022. The standard edition is available at 69.99 euros on PS4 and 79.99 euros on PS5, while the special 25th anniversary edition is available at 99.99 euros.
Gran Turismo 7 will benefit 100% of the new features of the PS5, as promised by Sony. We will find for example minimized loading times and a unique sound experience thanks to technology Tempest Audio 3D. As for the DualSense, we should be entitled to adaptive triggers and more haptic feedback than in other games.
