Mobvoi has just launched the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra this Wednesday, October 13. The new sports connected watch is intended for intensive use with military grade materials, better performance and improved connectivity.
- the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra is available from October 13, 2021 at € 299.99 for the GPS version
- a 4G / LTE version will be released next November for € 359.99
- the sports smartwatch can achieve up to 45 days of battery life
The TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra is a new variation of the short TicWatch Pro 3 released in 2020. The manufacturer ensures that this new model is 40% more powerful thanks to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 4100 chip and Mobvoi’s dual processor system, a chipset that allows applications to run faster.
Military materials made for extreme joggers
Constructed using materials that meet U.S. Military Standard 810G (MIL-STD-810G), the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS and Ultra are resistant to extreme temperatures, humidity, UV, shock, low pressure and water resistant to IP68 standard, and include an easy-to-read compass.
The two Mobvoi watches are available in a single black Shadow Black color. The watch case is made of stainless steel and high strength nylon with fiberglass. The 1.4-inch Amoled screen (454 x 454 resolution or 326 dpi) is protected by anti-fingerprint Gorilla Glass.
For the GPS version, the strap of the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra is made of fluorinated rubber and for the 4G / LTE version we are entitled to silicone made of genuine leather. Both are interchangeable and measure 22mm.
Spotify offline and up to 45 days of battery life
It is also possible to receive all its notifications while on the move – receiving and sending messages, weather alerts, consulting your meeting agenda, reading the latest news and controlling music. Thanks to the 4G LTE of the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra, you can make and take calls to stay connected anywhere and anytime.
The dual display, a hallmark of the TicWatch Pro range, provides the look and feel of a traditional watch with all the features of a high-end Wear OS device.
Mobvoi also announces that the autonomy of the TicWatch 3 Pro Ultra has been increased to 72 hours in Smart mode or to 45 days in Essential mode, where the use of applications is limited.
Logically, the connected watch offers a whole range of applications to monitor its health, in particular its heart rate, with the detection of the IHB / AFib if the heart rate is too fast, too slow or irregular, the evaluation of the mental fatigue as well as measuring energy levels. All reports are transmitted via the TicHealth application integrated into the watch and the Mobvoi application on the smartphone.
The TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS and TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra also offer more than 20 training modes with real-time statistics that are displayed along with the summary of training sessions on the watch screen and in the Mobvoi application. We can also mention the possibility of listening to Spotify offline, the addition of Google Pay for 37 regions (already there in France) and 18 color modes to adapt the screen to the rising light.
Release date, price and availability
As explained above, the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra will initially be available from October 13, 2021 at 299.99 euros for the GPS version. A 4G / LTE version will be released next November for 359.99 euros.
