Said El Moutawakil indicated that the easing of restrictive measures in Morocco depends on the improvement of the epidemiological situation.
In a statement to The Info Site, the member of the covid-19 scientific and technical committee said that the measures should soon be lightened given the improvement in the epidemiological situation and the decline in cases of infections.
Dr El Moutawakil also called on Moroccans to be vaccinated in order to find a normal life after the achievement of collective immunity. And to specify that the adoption of the sanitary pass to access public places is very likely.
“Unvaccinated people will soon have to present a certificate justifying that they cannot receive the injections to access public places,” he said.
Recall that in total, 343,055 people received the 3rd dose of the anti-Covid vaccine, on the tenth day of the launch of the operation, the Ministry of Health said on Wednesday.
The number of first-time vaccines reached 23,139,440, while that of people who received the 2nd dose now stands at 20,587,049, the ministry said in its daily bulletin on the Covid-19 epidemiological situation.
