A support march is organized this Thursday at 8 p.m. from the Ixelles Cemetery. Authorized by the police, it was set up following numerous testimonies from young girls claiming to have been victims of sexual assault in two bars in the Cemetery of Ixelles, the Waff and the El Café. At least one server is targeted by the accusations, relayed since Sunday evening on social networks.

According to some images of the rally, several hundred people are on site. The walkers, who have gathered near the El Café, will then move to Place Fernand Cocq. A delegation will normally be received by Christos Doulkeridis, the mayor of Ixelles.

This Thursday at the end of the day, the management of the two bars targeted by the testimonies of sexual assault assured that they had dismissed the targeted server “while waiting for all the light to be shed” on the case, and that it will take action. “if the facts are true”.
