DOUBAI, October 14, 2020 (WAM) – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Senegal have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at establishing a joint Emirati-Senegalese business council.
In the presence of Senegalese President Macky Sall and on the sidelines of Expo 2020 Dubai, the memorandum of understanding was signed by the President of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and President of the Abu Dhabi Chamber , Abdullah Mohamed Al Mazrouei, and by Aba Traoré and Elimane LAM on behalf of the Consortium of employers’ unions of Senegal.
On this occasion, Al Mazrouei underlined the interest of Emirati businessmen to learn about investment opportunities in Senegal and that of the Federation of Chambers of the United Arab Emirates to strengthen cooperation with the private sector in two friendly countries.
He added that UAE Chambers are willing to assist Senegalese business owners and investors who wish to establish direct or joint projects in UAE, as well as support them for successful investments and partnerships that already exist between Emirati and Senegalese companies.
