We are making efforts to improve conditions in terms of health, work, but also in terms of the environment. This is why I ask the Senegalese to pay more attention to hygiene. Here in Dubaî, we don’t see any garbage in the streets and yet they have it, but it is well managed in the houses. We cannot afford to throw garbage everywhere, to litter the streets, it destroys the environment. It scares visitors away because they will say it’s a dirty country and we don’t want that in Senegal. It was the Covid that had blocked our cleaning days, but also the opening up and disenchantment. The streets are not made for working or for holding workshops, we will no longer accept it and we will remedy it in partnership with the mayors and the populations for a country that is clean and pleasant to visit ”.
