The reform of school rhythms was approved at first reading by the government. The alternation of seven weeks of lessons and two weeks of leave may be made more flexible. Francophones will have ten to eleven weeks of leave together with the other communities.

Lhe reform of school rhythms is progressing, the preliminary draft of the decree has been approved by the government. On the program: a change planned for the next school year.

Unless there is a huge surprise, the next school year will start on Monday, August 29, 2022 and end on the first Friday in July, which is not the case among young German speakers and Dutch speakers, who will keep the current traditional calendar.
