Local residents fear future landslides that could affect their homes.
During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, a major landslide occurred on the site of the Quenast quarry, at the level of the mound of sterile soil accumulated by the operator. Several cubic meters of soil slipped over tens of meters, sweeping away beech trees and engulfing Chemin Bourleau a little more. Although the path is often used by walkers, there were no injuries and no houses were damaged. But this event makes residents fear the worst.
