In 2022, the budget is stopped at 5.199 billion Fcfa. The information is given by the Minister of Finance and Budget, Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo. He chaired in Saly a meeting with parliamentarians on the finance bill for the year 2022. The deputies of the finance and budgetary control committee of the National Assembly and the minister discussed the contours of the 2022 budget. This meeting allows parliamentarians to better soak up the Initial Finance Law (LFI) which is 5.160 billion this year.
“It is useful to remember that in 2012, the LFI was adopted for an amount of 2344.8 billion CFA francs. Thus, the budget has experienced an unprecedented increase; it exceeds, for the first time in the history of Senegal, the milestone of 5000 billion CFA francs, ie more than double the budget in 10 years ”, explained the Minister, Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo.
For deputy Abdou Mbow, “This has doubled Senegal’s budget since 2012. This year, there is an increase in revenue of 11.9%. In terms of investments, there is an increase of 10%. Despite the difficulties observed in the world, our services in Senegal have done everything to work on these balances ”.
