The director of the biotechnology laboratory at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Rabat, member of the Technical and Scientific Committee, affirmed that citizens’ access to closed places can cause great risks, because of the current cold wave which contributes to the presence of viruses.

During his intervention on the evening news of the national channel 2M, Prof. Azeddine Ibrahimi also explained that the cause of the slowing down of the affluence observed in the vaccinodromes is the fact that many citizens believe, wrongly, that Morocco has it. finished with the coronavirus. This, especially after the last reduction of its restrictive measures and the lifting of the night curfew.

Citizens must therefore continue to adhere more to the national vaccination campaign, knowing that Morocco risks experiencing a fourth wave of covid-19 in the coming days. Consequently, the immunity of citizens must be strengthened in order to fight against the said wave, insisted Pr Ibrahimi.

Any relaxation and non-compliance with preventive and sanitary measures, recommended by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, should be avoided in order not to contract the disease, the member of the Technical and Scientific Committee further advised.
