A delegation of South Korean businessmen went to Tangier on Tuesday to explore investment opportunities in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.
The President of the Council of this region, Omar Moro, received a delegation of South Korean investors, made up of the leaders of two South Korean companies operating in the agri-food and cosmetics industries, and in the tourism and hospitality sectors, and sports and cultural complexes, Cho Sang Wook and Kim Kyung-Soo.
According to a press release from the Regional Council, the two South Korean investors expressed their willingness to invest in the region, in order to contribute to the current dynamics in Morocco.
This visit was an opportunity to highlight the attractiveness of the region economically, logistically and geographically, and its strengths in terms of industrial integration, which aroused the interest of operators.
South Korean investors also stressed their willingness to provide an appropriate framework for the crystallization of their projects, which will help support bilateral relations and economic ties between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of South Korea, the same source said. , noting that the partnership relations between the two countries date back to the 1960s.
