Morocco launched, Friday, January 14, the “Morocco Tech” initiative, the national brand for the promotion of the Moroccan digital sector. This initiative was launched by Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate for Digital Transition and Administrative Reform.

(Cio Mag) – the “Morocco Tech” initiative aims to position Morocco as a digital destination of choice internationally and to create a global dynamic that will benefit all Moroccan ecosystems in their digital transformation. This brand is the result of a “public-private” partnership. It is supported by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, in close collaboration with the Federation of Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Offshoring (APEBI), in partnership with AMDIE, ADD, CGEM, AUSIM and Technopark.

During the launch of this initiative, Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate for Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, emphasized Morocco’s determination in the digital field in Africa. ” Morocco has one of the most attractive talent pools in the region and one of the best infrastructures on the continent. Through the “Morocco Tech” brand, private companies in Morocco undertake to support the influence and digital attractiveness of this country. ” The Morocco Tech brand will be carried by the public sector as well as by private actors within the framework of effective and results-oriented governance.
