Destination France: Conditions for traveling from Morocco

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, so that Moroccans can leave Morocco for tourism, vaccination is compulsory, and therefore a vaccination pass is required. To enter France from Morocco, the conditions depend on mainly vaccination. The vaccines accepted by France, on June 8, are those recognized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA): Pfizer, Moderna, AsreaZeneca et Johnson & Johnson, specifies the French government. This means that at this date, the Sinopharm vaccine (administered in part in Morocco) is not yet recognized in France, according to the same document. (Update: June 8, 2021). Sinopharm has nevertheless submitted an authorization request to the European Medicines Agency. As soon as it obtains its authorization, it will enter into force throughout the European Union and it will be one of the accepted vaccines.

> For people who have been vaccinated, the French authorities require proof of vaccination. A negative PCR test of less than 72 hours or a negative antigen test of less than 48 hours is required upon boarding. No testing is required on arrival and no quarantine measures should be applied by the traveler upon arrival.

The French government notes, however, that in France, “proof of vaccination is only valid on the condition that it makes it possible to certify the completion of a complete vaccination schedule, either 2 weeks after the 2nd injection for double injection vaccines “, including AstraZeneca.
