The young casablancais who had blocked the tramway by setting up a table to have his coffee was sentenced to three years in prison by the Casablanca Court of Appeal.

His two accomplices who had filmed the scene were sentenced to two years in prison. The Court also decided to award 40,000 DH in damages to RATP Dev Casablanca.

The young man was identified and arrested on May 23 by the DGSN and then placed in pre-trial detention, for this action punishable by law.
