With this funding, LNKO starts its acceleration phase and aims to internationalize in the MENA region.

CDG Invest has invested 3 million DH in LNKO, a startup operating in e-commerce and specializing in trendy eyewear. Through this investment, the winner of the second promotion of the 212Founders program can now enter the acceleration phase of the program.

As part of the 212Founders program, set up in 2019 by CDG Invest with the objective of participating in the creation and growth of startups in Morocco, the startup has benefited from local support allowing it to achieve its ambitions of positioning on the Moroccan market.

“We are proud to support LNKO on its growth path. The startup was able to achieve a very good performance in a short period of time. In less than a year, it has become the first Moroccan site for the sale of online glasses with more than 10,000 customers and we intend, through this funding, to support it in the realization of its regional ambitions ”, underlines Youssef Mamou, director of 212Founders program.

Specialized in trendy eyewear, LNKO follows a D2C (direct-to-consumer) model. By eliminating intermediaries from the sales circuit, the brand offers quality glasses and glasses at 550 DH. This Seed funding will allow LNKO to take a step forward by moving from the seed phase to the acceleration phase, which will allow the young startup to boost its growth in the MENA region, starting with the United Arab Emirates, a market 10 times higher than the Moroccan market.

Note that in addition to this investment and as part of its mission to promote entrepreneurship and the upscaling of the Moroccan economy, CDG Invest has so far made eight investments for the benefit of startups of the first promotion of the 212Founders program.
