A doctor from the Liège region and suspected of having issued 2,000 false vaccination certificates was arrested Wednesday evening by the federal judicial police of Charleroi (PJF), announced Wednesday Vincent Fiasse, the prosecutor of the King of Charleroi.
A case had been brought to trial for forgery and the use of forgery following a complaint and the Aviq (the Walloon Agency for Quality Life) being called as a civil party.
The Liège doctor was arrested Wednesday evening by the PJF of Charleroi, we learned on Wednesday evening by the prosecutor of the King of Charleroi. The Charleroi prosecutor’s office confirmed on Tuesday that a case for forgery and use of forgery had been brought to trial against a Walloon doctor suspected of having provided 2,000 false vaccination certificates following a complaint and a constitution civil party from Aviq (the Walloon Agency for Quality Life).
The arrested doctor will be presented Thursday afternoon before an examining magistrate. The public prosecutor of Charleroi declined to make any further comments. The latter also specified Tuesday that the doctor faces 5 to 10 years in prison and that the patients also risk prosecution.
