After a cancellation (2020) and an online edition (2021), the Curieux Voyageurs festival should return to a normal configuration next year for what will be its 42e edition (from March 25 to 27 at the Saint-Étienne Convention Center).
Meetings organized with the authors from December
Ahead of this event dedicated to travel and image, the organizers have just launched the 12e edition of the literary prize “with a selection of three stories undertaken by women: The Year of the Two Ladies (by Catherine Faye and Marine Sanclemente, Paulsen editions); Between the folds of the world, chronicles on the heights of Asia (by Cécile and Charles-Antoine Schwerer, Alisio editions) and Breath of the Andes (by Linda Bortoletto, Payot Voyageurs editions) ”.
Lived as a duo, as a couple or alone, “these very different adventures will take readers to Mauritania, Upper Asia or Patagonia, to meet the past, others or oneself. “
Readers will have until March to vote and nominate the 2022 winner (1). The prize will be awarded during the festival, however, “reading cafes will be organized with the authors from December until March. A great opportunity to interact with passionate and exciting adventurers, always happy to share their experience, to make it even more alive ”.
(1) The three works are available to the public in the participating Loire and Haute-Loire media libraries (the list is on the festival website) and available for sale at the Librairie de Paris (Saint-Étienne) , partner of the literary prize. Readers will be able to place their ballot in the ballot boxes installed in each partner media library.
