Prev – GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition in preview at Fnac on Xbox and PS4 – Bon plan

An iconic trilogy

Rockstar Games Gets Desired By Pushing Back GTA V Release Date For Consoles next-gen, but who cares, since it’s another title that embraces the mission of keeping fans patient. Indeed, Rockstar Games has announced the release of Grand Theft Auto : The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition on all the consoles of the moment.

Digital versions of the compilation are announced at November 11, 2021 on all platforms (PC, Xbox, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch) while the remastered game offers a physical version for Xbox (One and Series X/S) and Playstation 4, scheduled for December 6, 2021.

While the wait may seem long, license fans already have something to chew on. Indeed, if you wish to acquire a physical version, the pre-orders are already open at Fnac. The ideal opportunity to store a beautiful game box alongside the PS2 boxes of the original games.

As a reminder, Grand Theft Auto : The Trilogy includes 3 flagship titles of the saga, namely: GTA III, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas. This is not a trivial compilation but rather a remastered version with sauce Unreal Engine, bringing significant graphical improvements and an extended viewing distance. The gameplay is also brought up to date and takes advantage of the GTA V to make aiming smoother.

Available only on Xbox and PS4, the physical versions of the game are pre-orderable at Fnac for 59,99 €, the same price as for the digital versions. Those with a card from the brand will also be able to take advantage of 10 € credited to their member account which increases the price of the game to 49,99 €, a good opportunity to (re) discover the joy of walking the streets of Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas (my favorite).
