Continue the series of the Operator Showcase, created by Ubisoft to sponsor the new chapter of Rainbow Six shooting game, Rainbow Six Extraction exclusively shows us a new operator whose name is Rook. As a docking and leveling operator, his job is to provide armor plates to the team, providing resistance to damage.. The character description is as follows, taken directly from his biography in the game’s official wiki:
« Rook was specifically recruited to join REACT for his exceptional shooting skills. Trained by the National Gendarmerie, then in operation with the GIGN, he is known for his ability to adapt in conditions of extreme stress. His boron ceramic armor increases the team’s survivability and combat effectiveness by providing additional protection that Rook can deploy against archers as needed. »
The other benefit of armor is that a teammate equipped with it will go into a knockdown state instead of being stunned. This means they can return to battle and be safe from unpleasant capture.. Rook’s armor upgrade provides even more damage resistance and will not be lost each time he is downed. This makes it ideal for rescue missions. In any case, the operator seems to be a good ally to have in any situation, but perhaps for faster operations he will be replaced by more experienced and ideal people. Rainbow Six Extraction will be released on January 20 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Google Stadia (with Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass).
